TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RENTING AT WYCLE CREEK CABIN

The property will be ready for occupancy at 4:00 PM local time on the beginning date of the lease and must be vacated by 10:00 AM local time on the ending date of the lease. This is a Saturday to Saturday Rental. SORRY, NO EARLY CHECK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT LESSOR'S PRIOR APPROVAL.

In lieu of a deposit for property damages caused by the GUEST, a onetime $ 69.00 Damage Insurance Policy is put in place for each reservation.

Refundable Security Deposit:

If it is determined that Housekeeper has to perform excessive cleaning over and above what is normal or expected, or LESSOR has to perform necessary or required repairs or maintenance such as undoing clogged toilets or sinks, due to GUEST misuse or carelessness, costs for these additional activities will be taken from a $500.00 Added Cleaning / Maintenance Fee and the remaining monies will be returned to the GUEST within thirty (30) to forty-five (45) days of GUEST departure from premises.

Accidental Rental Damage Insurance:

Accidental damage protection is included for any damages or accidents, subject to exclusions and limitations that occur to the premises during your rental period up to $3,000. Any damage or accident that exceeds that amount or is not covered under the policy will be the responsibility of the leaseholder with charges applied to credit card on file.

Severe Weather:

We do not refund rents or deposits due to cancelled or shortened stays because of weather. Departures due to inclement weather do no warrant refund of rent or deposit.

Travel Insurance provided by TRAVEL GUARD:

Every year, snowstorms, hurricanes and other unexpected weather events cause travelers to delay, interrupt or even cancel their trips completely. A travel insurance plan can help cover your vacation investment. Specific coverage questions should be directed to Travel Guard (1.866.478.8222 or www.travelguard.com/astp). Hurricane Policy and Tropical Storm Policy:

We do not offer any refunds for Hurricanes, Tropical Storms and/or Winter Storms. We highly recommend that Guest purchase TRAVEL Insurance for their scheduled trip. It is the Guest’s responsibility to purchase this coverage for their trip. Coverage is available for health and weather related problems. Please call them directly or order online to purchase this in your name.

TRAVEL INSURANCE AND HURRICANES: WHAT’S COVERED?

Travel insurance may cover a traveler’s vacation investment if severe weather conditions directly affect their travel arrangements or accommodations. For example, if a traveler is forced to cancel a trip due to a hurricane, travel insurance with trip cancellation can provide a reimbursement for nonrefundable expenses, up to the limit of coverage purchased.

If severe weather forces the evacuation of the traveler’s unit, the travel insurance may provide reimbursement for nonrefundable expenses, and additional travel expenses. For losses to be covered, travel insurance must be purchased before a hurricane is forecasted or predicted. Once a storm is named, losses resulting from a hurricane that has been forecasted or predicted on or before the effective date of coverage are excluded.

All claims will be evaluated on their own merits at the time of adjudication.

ACTS OF GOD:

We shall not be liable for events beyond our control which interfere with Your scheduled occupancy, including, but not limited to, Acts of God, acts of governmental agencies, fire, strikes, war, tornado, ice storm, severe weather, inclement weather, ferry boat cancellation, loss of electricity, or loss of water. NO REBATE OR REFUND shall be given in these circumstances. We recommend you purchase Travel Insurance when making your reservation.

Travel Insurance is available on this site and we highly recommend you purchase it.

MINIMUM STAY:

Wycle Creek Cabin requires a four (4) night minimum stay. If you have a question about a longer stay please contact the Owner directly.

INCLUSIVE FEES:

Rates include a one-time linen setup and cleaning service. There is NO DAILY MAID SERVICE. We provide all bedding sheets, blankets, pillows, bath and hand towels. We also provide an initial set of trash liners, bath soap, shampoo and toilet paper. Extra items needed for your stay are the responsibility of the guest. (i.e. bring your tooth paste, laundry detergent and bleach, extra bath soap, paper towels, extra rolls of toilet paper).

UTILITIES:

The cabin provides water, central air conditioning, heat, and electricity. Cabin also has a gas log fireplace. Cabin does not have a landline for local telephone usage nor WiFi service.

RESTRICTIONS:

No trailers, campers, or motor homes may be parked at the unit for additional sleeping space or additional housing. No boats, or jet skis are allowed nor permitted. All ski equipment (snowboards or skis) must be stored outside within the covered carport area.

PETS NOT ALLOWED:

ABSOLUTELY NO PETS are permitted in rental unit under any circumstances, NO EXCEPTIONS. If any evidence of a pet(s) is found in your unit or on the premises, you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent.

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS:

Wycle Creek Cabin has two bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a King Sized Bed; Bedroom Two has a Queen Sized Bed.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS:

The house is to be occupied by no more than four (4) persons at a maximum. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. No chaperoned groups. A listing of guest’s name and birthdays will be requested during your reservation registration.

FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS:

Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance deposit and/or rental money and the Guests will be asked to vacate the premises.

WEATHER STATEMENT:

During winter visits, stay tuned to local TV and weather stations for storm warnings or watches. Depending on the severity of winter weather, it is your responsibility to make needed preparations and take all necessary precautions.

GUEST assures the LESSOR that the tenants will observe all conditions and terms of this lease as to maintaining the premises in good order and appearance and will conduct themselves in a manner inoffensive to neighbors.

GUEST assures the LESSOR that any tenant who violates any of the terms of this Lease shall be immediately denied occupancy and shall remedy any damages or other expenses, which are caused by the tenant and/or the tenant’s guest(s).

GUEST agrees that any tenant who is found using drugs or allows others to use drugs on the premises will be immediately denied continued occupancy at these premises.

GUEST and/or their guests shall not disturb, annoy, endanger, or inconvenience neighbors, nor use the premises for any immoral or unlawful purposes, nor violate any law or ordnance, nor commit waste or nuisance on or about the premises.

GUEST agrees that during the term of this lease and such further time as he/she occupies the premises, he/she will keep the leased premises clean and free of trash, garbage, and other waste; and all pipes, wires, glass, plumbing and other equipment and fixtures in the same condition as at the beginning of, or may put in during the term of the lease, reasonable wear and tear and damage by unavoidable fire and casualty only exception.

GUEST agrees to indemnify and save LESSOR harmless from all liability, loss or damage arising from any nuisance or harm made or suffered on the leased premises by the GUEST, tenants, or guests or from any carelessness, neglect, or improper conduct of any persons entering, occupying or visiting the leased premises.

GUEST agrees that he/she shall not paint or make alterations to the property, including changing existing locks or adding new ones, without the LESSOR’S written consent.

Upon not less than 24 hours’ notice, GUEST shall make available to LESSOR or his agent for the premises of entering to make necessary or convenient repairs. tenants.

In an emergency, LESSOR or his agent may enter the premises at any time without securing prior permission from GUEST.

GUEST may not let, sublet or assign this lease for all or any part of the premises without prior consent of the LESSOR.

If GUEST abandons or vacates the premises, LESSOR may at his option terminate this lease, enter the premises, and remove all property.

In the event that any action shall be commenced by either party arising out of, or concerning this lease or any right or obligation derived there from, the prevailing party shall be entitled to receive attorney’s fees as fixed by the Court in addition to all relief at law or equity.

Either party may terminate this lease in the event of a violation of early provision of this lease by the other party in the manner and as provided by law.

The Policies and Procedures above are meant to protect our guests and owners alike. All guests, as well as owners are required to conform to all Policies and Procedures.

GUEST assumes full responsibility for fulfilling the terms of the lease for the period stated and assure the LESSOR full recourse for the payment of any amount outstanding from the total amount due in accord with the terms as stated above including any outstanding or unpaid charges that are the responsibility of the GUEST.

In the event of cancellation of this contract, refund of the advanced rental deposit will be made only to the extent that a tenant can be found to occupy the vacated time reserved under this contract.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

For those Guests that elect to forego purchasing Travel Insurance, the following conditions will apply if any cancellations or changes are made.

For cancellation made more than sixty (60) days of the check-in date, a full refund of any advance or final payment minus a $75.00 cancellation fee, will be issued back to the Guest.

For cancellation notices made prior to sixty (60) days of the check-in date, it will result in the forfeiture of 50% of all monies paid.

For cancellation notices made within thirty (30) days of the check in date, it will result in loss of all payments made.

Cancellations and early departures due to inclement weather do not warrant any refund of rent.

CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION:

A credit card number will be required at time of booking. When making the reservation, 50% of the total balance will be required to be made. Failure to cancel in writing may result in the initial advance payment or final payment being charged to the credit card.

I understand and consent to the use of the credit card provided without original signature on the charge slip, I understand that by “clicking” that I have read the terms and conditions of this property, I am bound by this agreement and I have signed “electronically, and that this Credit Card Authorization cannot be revoked and will not terminate until 90 days after leased premises are vacated. Charges may include but not limited to: satellite TV charges; damages beyond normal wear and tear.
